Rosie Perez

 Rosie Perez was born Rosa Maria Perez 6 September 1964. She is an American actress. Her first role in the role of Tina in Do the Right Thing (1989) was followed by White Men Can't jump (1992). Perez's performance in Fearless (1993) brought her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as other awards. It Could Happen to You (1994), The Road to El Dorado(2000) The Road to El Dorado (2000), Pineapple Express(8), and Birds of Prey(2020) are among her most well-known film roles.

 Perez earned three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for In Living Color (1990-1994) and another Emmy nomination for her role in The Flight Attendant (2020-present). Perez has appeared in Broadway stage plays like The Ritz and Frankie, Johnny in the Clair de Lune and Fish in the Dark. She also co-hosted on the ABC talk show The View during the series in the 18th season.

 Early life

 Perez was born in Brooklyn's Bushwick on the 6th of September 1964, to Lydia Perez, a merchant maritime seaman, and Ismael Serano.  Perez's mother Lydia Fontanez and Reyes was born in Humacao (Puerto Rico) on the 13th of October 1939. Her father was originally from Aguadilla (Puerto Rico). Arturo Perez was her mother's 20-year-old husband. After an affair with Serrano's father, Perez's mother had already been blessed with five kids. Perez was born in the now closed Greenpoint Hospital in the Greenpoint neighborhood in Brooklyn.

 Perez is among ten children brought up by her mother. Rosie and her siblings were raised in Bushwick in the period when their mother was imprisoned. While in prison, her mother gave birth to her eldest daughter. After being cared for by her aunt, she was put in group homes and foster care. Her siblings and she were frequently divided. She was put in a group foster home, and was in foster care in New York until she reached the age of eight. It was legal to consider her as a ward in the State of New York from age 12 from the age of 12. Her aunt and mother frequently visited her, as did her father was unsuccessful in his attempts to gain custody at one point.
